[커피 품종] San Roque

이번 '2020 Costarica COE'결과에서 항상 등장하는 품종이 있는데, 이것은 바로  'San Roque' 이다. 'San Roque'는 Wolrd coffee Reserach에 등장해 있지 않아서 검색하고 책을 찾아봐야 했었다. 우선 'San Roque'의 수상 경력이다. Coe에서 높은 등수를 차지 하는 것은 아니지만, 중간 등수와 가끔은 상위등급을 할 때도 있기 때문에 알고 가면 좋은 품종이다.

'San Roque'는 Bourbon의 자연변이종이다. 생산성이 매우 좋고, 원두 크기는 중간 정도이다. Bourbon 보다 맛은 덜하다는 평가가 있다. 평균 1500m - 1700m에서 커피가 생산된다. 커피 맛은 사이트 마다 조금씩 다르다. 커피의 맛은 콜롬비아 사람들이 좋아하는 맛인데, '포도, '체리', 'Citrus', 'Cherry Cola','Chocolate', Clementine(감귤) 이라고 한다.
